Don’t panic, here are some damage control tips to read before you go to sleep…
SLEEP ON YOUR BACK. If you’re a heavy sleeper or sleep on one or the other side of your face, you can wake up with vertical wrinkles or ‘sleep wrinkles’. Try to sleep on your back so you don’t have so much ‘squishing’ or ‘squashing’ of your face.
FACE LIFT: Sleep on an extra pillow to help drain away the excess fluids that can cause bags under your eyes. Don’t do this every night though or you’ll end up with neck ache.
REGULARLY WASH YOUR PILLOWCASE: This will prevent the build-up of oils from your skin and hair that can cause breakouts. Use fragrance-free washing powder and skip the fabric softener to avoid irritating, and potentially, clogging the skin.
Sweet dreams!
