Jackson Ranch is a beautiful 3.5 hour drive from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra, the ranch sleeps up to 30 guests, across five newly renovated cabins.
As a ranch guest you have access to the South Coast’s most secluded and beautiful beaches. Walk the grounds, hike the neighbouring mountains, surf, swim and kick off your boots. Another major bonus, it’s just 30 minutes from Mollymook, so you can enjoy priority bookings at Rick Stein’s restaurant, Bannisters Pool Bar or Pavilion Rooftop. Heaven!
The accommodation
The cabins range from one to four bedrooms and the ranch sleeps up to 30 people. All cabins have fireplaces, air conditioning, BBQs and smart TV’s, everything you need for a comfortable home away from home stay.
The Homestead is the largest, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a fully serviced kitchen and living and dining area. It also features a fireplace, sunny deck, and a private dam and pontoon.
The Hideaway Cabin {shown here} has three bedrooms, can sleep six, and also features an outdoor bathroom. And the two one-bedroom Lakeview Cabins, as their name would suggest, have pretty views across Lake Willinga.
Why we loved it…
Other than getting Yellowstone vibes, from the moment we arrived, the surroundings instantly made us start to chill. The property is a stunning secluded sanctuary with tall gums, lake views and kangaroos hopping around. {They’re just as curious about you as you are about them!}
The accommodation has everything you need for a luxe stay, everything has been thought out with close attention to detail. Sheets are crisp cotton and pillows are just perfect {well for me anyway!} The breakfast box was sensational, and when we stayed, there was a pop-up restaurant which was next level. Every dish, every flavour completely blew us away.
We can’t recommend The Jackson Ranch highly enough. It’s the perfect escape from the city, as soon as you arrive your stress-levels melt away.
Weddings, parties, anything…
The Jackson Ranch also offers the perfect setting for any event, with beautiful settings and delicious catering options. It is the perfect spot for a wedding with so many locations for the ceremony {and photos} and after your vows, host your guests at The Burnt Bar for cocktail hour before the reception. Or wind down post-event with a nightcap in the Saloon Bar.
