Devon’s path into entrepreneurship started when she craved more fulfilment in her life. After returning home from her overseas adventures, she landed a job at Mitre10 Head Office, where her love for design really took off. That’s when the idea for Silver Linings Collective was born. She wanted to create gorgeous jewellery that resonates with people, and she’s definitely doing just that.
In just a few short years, Silver Linings Collective has made waves in the industry, partnering with shops like Flo&Frankie and A&C Homestore. Devon’s hard work and commitment to quality have resulted in impressive growth, with a whopping 60% increase in sales last financial year. And while juggling a growing business and motherhood is no easy feat, Devon tackles each challenge head-on. Recently, she expanded her offerings to include a line of children’s jewellery, filling a gap she saw in the market.
Devon’s story is one of grit, creativity, and the belief that passion can fuel success. As she continues to grow her brand and connect with her customers, she remains committed to making special family memories while crafting stunning jewellery that brings joy to everyone who wears it.

We asked Devon our bellamumma Q&A’s, here’s what she said…
Relatable, driven, and always up for a laugh.
Other women in business. I see the hard work they put in—it’s not easy!
Jewellery Designer and Owner of Silver Linings Collective.
I started as a mail girl at Bauer Media and within three months was promoted to Circulation Executive.
A mermaid! I loved the idea of collecting shiny treasures, which kind of came true since I work with jewellery every day.
I was at a point where I needed more fulfilment—both at work and in life. After lots of research, I decided to pursue my passion for jewellery and start a side hustle. It grew from there!
Mornings start early with my 2.5-year-old daughter, Beau. After dropping her off at daycare, I dive into emails, meetings, managing stock, and planning pop-ups or warehouse sales. Every day is different, but I wear all the hats running the business.
Seeing my daughter’s excitement when I pick her up from daycare.

Family, exercise (even just a walk), and sunshine.
Tyler Childers’ “Lady May” and Chris Stapleton’s “Maggie’s Song” are on repeat.
Bali! Our trip there with Beau was unforgettable, and the people were so lovely.
I love taking a walk with my dog, Doogle. We live rurally, so it’s always beautiful out there.
My dad always said, “What you put in, you get out.” It’s stuck with me, especially in business.
Owning a store where people come to shop for all things accessories.
My daughter running into the bedroom at 5 am—there’s no better wake-up call!
My Nan, Steven Bartlett, and Taylor Swift—what an interesting mix!

My partner Campbell and I love taking on new projects. Right now, we’re building an Airbnb!
I keep a personal calendar and a family one, so we’re all on the same page.
Taking the leap to go full-time with Silver Linings during COVID, right after we built our house.
I’d love to take my family to Europe and create new memories exploring cities and cultures.
“The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck”—it really helped me put things in perspective.
“Short term pain, long term gain.” It applies to so many aspects of life, especially starting a business.
It’s a challenge, but being present for my family is a priority. I’ve learned to set boundaries between work and personal time.
Do your homework, stay authentic, and surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed. Relationships are everything!
Making memories with my family—camping at the lake, water sports with friends—it’s what summer is all about.
