Take a cue from the Alice + Olivia spring 2016 show, where hairstylist Marshall Lin wove models’ hair into side braids that spilled into beachy tails. The trick is to braid your hair into random, assorted plaits, before and after, you pull your hair into a ponytail. “Once the hair is back, you can keep teasing and adding more braids,” he says. The look and effect just becomes cooler.
