the nikki edit: WHAT I’M LOVING THIS WEEK

Nikki Yazxhi

The prettiest dresses and vases, the book I can’t put down, the no-nasty deodorant that really works, here’s the roundup of my fave things this week…

I love flicking through Matthew Cantwell’s beautiful Secret Gardens book. It’s 375 pages of Australia’s most discerning residential landscape architecture, landscape construction and horticultural design projects, kept secret {until now}! If you’re like me, you’ll find it hard to pick a favourite garden.

Secret Gardens by Matthew Cantwell is available at selected bookshops for $59.95.
+ check out instagram.com/secretgardenslandscapes/ for more inspiration – and stay tuned, I chatted to Matthew about all things gardens and got some great insider tricks and tips… watch this space!

LoveShackFancy is a New York City-based lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by stylist, designer and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen. The brand originated from Rebecca’s desire to design the perfect bridesmaid dress for her own ethereal summer wedding at her family home in Bridgehampton, surrounded by swaying apple trees. From Bec’s first collection of hand-dyed silk dresses, LoveShackFancy quickly gained a dedicated following for its gorgeous pieces that whisper of dream escapes and special moments.

I’ve tried quite a few no-nasties deodorants in my day, and I have to say {from my experience} a lot of them don’t work. Which is why I’m so exciting about discovering Sativa’s aluminium-free, lightly scented, anti-bacterial deodorant – it really works. Loving the Bliss scent, it’s really light, and really fresh.

{It even passed the teenage boy test!}

Gorgeous friend, Rouba Alamein, has the most amazing taste – and her latest collections for her homewares Leilah {which is just about to go retail}, are true testiment to that. My faves are the gorgeous new black votives and vases pictured right. #love

All products for Leilah grow from Rouba’s passion for textiles, love of hand loom, lighting, beauty and culture.

You’ll be seeing more of Rouba and Leilah here, but until then keep up to date on all things Leilah at https://www.instagram.com/leilahsydney/

You may know her from Rosehaven and Have You Been Paying Attention but the stand-up stage is where it all began for Celia Pacquola and I’m so freakin’ excited to see her sassy new show ‘All Talk’ at the Sydney Opera House this August! We have tickets to see her next Sunday, can’t wait!

You can get your tickets too at comedy.com.au
