The hotel’s ‘Pets Are Welcome’ (P.A.W.) program is just one of the ways the hotel supports guests’ furry friends going on holiday.

Leaving your pet when you go on holiday can be pretty traumatic {it is for us}, but if you’re visiting San Francisco, it doesn’t have to be. P.A.W. {Pets Are Welcome} is a customised program that ensures your canine or feline a stay at W San Francisco that is just as amazing as yours.

The hotel provides guests with a bed and bowl check-in amenity for the pet, pet toy, pet treat, W Hotels pet tag, clean-up bags, as well as a list of activities such as dog-walking, grooming services and specialty pet stores to visit. The concierge is also happy to arrange dog-sitting/walking, locations of nearest dog parks, dog runs, veterinarian and grooming services.

At check-in, you’ll receive a welcome packet with the following dog- or cat-designated items: A pet toy, a pet treat, a W Hotels pet tag, clean-up bags and details about pet services available through the Concierge and our Whatever/Whenever service. When you get to your room, you’ll find a custom W Hotels pet bed, food and water bowls with a floor mat, a pet-in-room door sign and, best of all, a special treat at turndown. Recently, W San Francisco hosted its second annual Yappy Hour for dogs and their owners. At the event there was a doggie ball pit, doggie cocktails and a ‘puparrazi’ photo station.
Such a genius idea, we only wish we could take Jake. We are actually going to be staying at W San Francisco {don’t tell Jake} so stay tuned for the up-coming posts about our stay!
