If you’re in the same boat, these tips can help you {and me!}…
Exfoliate {It’s Not Just For Your Face}. The first step in reviving dull, dry hands is to slough away the dull, dry, dead cells with a body scrub.
Moisturise, Moisturise, Moisturise! Apply a rich hand cream, aqueous or petroleum jelly over your hands at night, or when your skin is slightly damp, and sleep with gloves on to lock in the moisture. Hello soft hands in the morning!
Wash With Care. Washing your hands with soap and water – or an antibacterial handwash that contains alcohol – can dry out hands. To renew the suppleness of skin, use a milky, sulfate-free soap instead.
Protect Your Cuticles. Heal jagged hangnails by massaging them with a conditioning treatment that penetrates deeply and quickly, all while softening cuticles and promoting strong, flexible, natural nails.
Wear gloves. Thin and delicate, the skin on our hands is typically the first to suffer as a result of the elements. Make a habit out of wearing gloves or mittens every time you go outside in colder temps! Not only will you look chic and seasonal, but you’ll be salvaging your palms for spring as well.
