A WIDE-BRIMMED SUNHAT OR A WINTER FEDORA IS THE PERFECT LAZY DAY HAIR SOLUTION

But what about hat hair?

Here’s the easy styling hat-hair-helping tricks you need….
Get wavy. If you’re starting with wet hair, towel-dry it. Then, using your fingers, rake a palmful of mousse from your roots to your ends. Loosely twist your hair into a ballerina bun, pinning it high enough on your crown that it will fit under the hat. This way, your hair’s actually getting lifted, not weighed down. When you want to take off your hat, undo your bun and shake out your hair for beachy waves.
Lift it up. If your hair’s dry, brush all of it back before putting on your hat to avoid getting bends in your hair. Leave your hair down, or loosely pull it back into a ponytail, securing it with a fabric-covered elastic to prevent creases. After lifting your hat, form a side part to add instant height at your roots.
Smooth it down. Part your hair down the centre so the hat will hold it in place, plus smooth any flyaways. When you take off your hat, boost volume by gently massaging dry shampoo into your roots then aiming your blowdryer at your crown for a few seconds.
