1. Starting with damp hair, make a rectangular section at the front of your head. {It should extend from the end of one eyebrow to the end of the other and four inches back from the hairline.
2. Spray a volumiser to your roots and blow-dry hair straight up using a round brush {it provides the necessary traction for holding the hair up}.
3. Once it’s dry, make a pin curl by wrapping the section around three fingers and securing it with a bobby pin. While that section cools, spritz salt spray on the rest of your hair and rough-dry, tousling it with your fingers.
4. Take out the pin curl and spray dry shampoo at the roots of the middle section.
5. Now, for the swoop: Flip the majority of the section to one side and make a side part that starts at the arch of your eyebrow and angles back toward the crown. You should have a big swoop on one side and a mini swoop on the other. {If you have a cowlick, use that natural lift by flipping the swoop to the opposite side – this look was made for cowlicks!}
