Nikki Yazxhi – editor/creator of bellaMUMMA.com
Nikki comes from a magazine background. She has been editor of Girlfriend, Barbie magazine and associate editor of Cosmopolitan, she has also written freelance features for most of Australia’s women’s magazines.
Nikki Yazxhi first started bellaMUMMA.com to share snippets of her life as a beauty insider with her readers. Now, 10 years on, bellaMUMMA has evolved into a go-to lifestyle site for women around the globe. Having had a beauty post chosen by Vogue Australia as a “great post to read right now”, been listed as a favourite blog of The Hoopla, recommended by Madison magazine, listed as Kidspot’s Top 50 and is now in their Voices Hall Of Fame, Nikki and bellaMUMMA are well-known in Australia’s beauty and fashion world, and well-established on Australia’s blogging landscape.
Nikki’s expertise comes from her 20+ years in magazines. She started in the fashion department at Harper Bazaar; has been editor of Girlfriend; launched Barbie magazine; and worked with Mia Freedman as her associate editor at Cosmopolitan. Nikki also worked ACP and ninemsn to launch and produce www.cosmopolitan.com.au
After the birth of her first son, Nikki left the full-time magazine world and started freelancing for Australia’s top publications. Her freelance beauty/lifestyle features have appeared on/in: BODY+SOUL, COSMOPOLITAN, COSMOPOLITAN PREGNANCY, COSMOPOLITAN BRIDES, SHOP TIL YOU DROP, DOLLY, MARIE CLAIRE, FAMOUS, COUNTRY STYLE, FRESH, AUSTRALIAN PARENTING MAGAZINE, SUNDAY MAGAZINE, WOMAN’S DAY, HOUSE OF WELLNESS and KIDSPOT.COM.AU.
While still freelancing, bellaMUMMA.com was born, now it is her full-time work and passion.
Nikki lives in Sydney with her husband, Adam Yazxhi, Creative Director at Maxco, her two sons, and their crazy labradoodle puppy, Jake.
