BEAUTY MAKE-UP

make-up class: BASE BASICS

MAKE-UP WEARS DIFFERENTLY ON ALL PARTS OF THE FACE SO THE TRICK TO FLAWLESS LONGER-LASTING FOUNDATION IS TO USE VARYING TEXTURES AND SHADES. Just using one foundation colour will look like a mask.
Here are the base basics…

1. Apply a primer followed by a tinted moisturiser to moisturise and infuse the skin with colour.

2. Using a foundation brush, apply a full coverage foundation (half a shade lighter than your skin tone) under the eyes and T-Zone area (not too much on the bridge of the nose) followed by a fine sweep above the jaw line (between the cheekbone and jaw line). This highlights the face and creates the illusion of flawless skin whilst sculpting the face.

3. Dust loose face powder over the foundation. The powder texture over the foundation keeps skin looking sheer but polished.

4. Dust mineral powder, (in a shade slightly warmer/deeper than your natural skin tone), on your temples, back of the cheekbones and tip of the chin. This creates additional textures and definition.

5. Buff over your entire face with a large powder brush.
