WE’RE PAST THE ‘KNOCK THEM DOWN’ STAGE OF OUR RENOVATION, AND WE’VE STARTED THE EXCITING STAGE, THE BUILD-EVERYTHING-BACK PART… & WE NOW HAVE WALLS

… and not just any walls, we have Asthma Council approved walls,
yes there’s such a thing.

It’s something you don’t think about, but living with two allergy sufferers {Hubbie and Mr 13} when it came to choosing Gyprock to re-do our walls, we couldn’t go past Gyprock Sensitive. This product is amazing… we can already feel the difference in the house, as well as being perfect for allergy/asthma sufferers the Gyprock seems to be denser, making it soundproof each room better, if that makes sense!

the details: Gyprock Sensitive is part of Gyprock’s Residential Specialty Options range of plasterboards. This gypsum plasterboard’s core is treated with a powerful but gentle antifungal agent, which penetrates through the paper liner and paint coating. The core contains a wax emulsion to make it highly resistant to moisture and humidity without compromising integrity and the product is classified as low in volatile organic compounds (VOC), meaning it emits fewer chemicals than the acceptable Australian standard. These attributes make it an ideal choice to use throughout the homes of asthma and allergy sufferers.

And because Gyprock Sensitive is not subject to moisture movement and has extremely low water absorption characteristics, it provides an excellent, stable substrate for ceramic tiles {which is perfect as we’re completely re-tiling both bathrooms}.

The Sensitive Choice partnership: CSR Gyprock is proudly a partner of the National Asthma Council Australia’s Sensitive Choice program which identifies products that are a better choice for asthma, eczema and allergy sufferers. Gyprock Sensitive is approved by the Sensitive Choice program as a better choice for asthma and allergy sufferers.
