YOUR EYES ARE USUALLY THE FIRST FEATURE TO SHOW YOUR AGE / START AGEING…

especially if you’re sleep-deprived and tired!


Here are a few tip how to keep them looking young {apart from getting your 8 hours of zzzz’s}:

Good skin care – which includes using an eye cream both morning and night – can help reduce wrinkles by up to 50 per cent.

Try eating foods that are high in antioxidants to help maintain the structure of the fine skin around your eyes. Taking vitamin’s C and A (which helps your skin retain moisture) is helpful too – as are the essential fats found in fish such as salmon and tuna.

Drink two litres of water daily to sort out your skin by rehydrating your body and flushing out fluid retention which can show around the eyes.

Other tricks to try are: sleeping on three pillows to drain fluid from your face; and keeping some spoons in the fridge then pressing the convex sides against your lids for a few minutes constricts blood vessels and helps ease puffiness.
