TRAVELLING WITH THE BUGABOO X DIESEL

OUR SECOND ‘BORN TO #BEBRAVE’ {TRAVEL} DIARY POST

by kids + lifestyle contributor, Sarah Harrison

For young families {like us} about to embark on an overseas trip, the mere idea of travelling with all the ‘essential gear’ is usually met with complete and utter exhaustion. Let’s be honest, the drive to the airport alone with a boot full of luggage is hard enough! Well a week before Christmas, that’s exactly what we did. We loaded up the car, drove to the airport, unloaded the car, jumped on a shuttle to the airport, unloaded the shuttle, walked to the check in, checked in, then proceeded to walk the ‘essential gear’ to ‘oversized luggage’ (which in our case was three car seats, a travel cot and our Bugaboo).

Truth be told, if it wasn’t for the Bugaboo, the whole experience would’ve been much more stressful. Easy to fold down, compact enough in the boot, easy to assemble at the other end… and with the added luxury of the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board for a three year old that always has ‘very tired and sore legs’, travelling with the bugaboo took away some of the ‘travelling with kids’ stress.  Not to mention the Bugaboo Comfort Transport Bag (which has wheels of its own), it truly was the easiest travel accessory yet.

Once we arrived in NZ, the Bugaboo went everywhere with us. They say the Bugaboo Buffalo is designed specifically for all-terrain performance, and that it certainly is. Sand, rocks, paddocks and pavements- it did it all. The seat is so spacious and the fact that it can fully recline means that babes can sleep on the go in comfort. The Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board was a godsend throughout our trip. When it wasn’t required the board easily detached and was stored underneath the stroller. It has strong suspension for a nice cruisy ride and slides on so easily in just two clicks.

Travelling is all about exploring and discovering the world around you. Bugaboo allows parents to do this with their babes in tow. It’s not about where you are, but where you can go. The sand and dirt can always be washed away from the stroller, but the stories that the stroller allows you to create will always remain.
