INTRODUCING THE NEW BUGABOO BY DIESEL
+ THE VERY-FIRST ‘BORN TO #BEBRAVE’ DIARY POST
Tucked away in Sydney’s inner south in a chic industrial space, Bugaboo celebrated the launch of their second collaboration stroller with Diesel, the global denim powerhouse. The room was full of lots of yummy mummies and media alike but the true guests of this launch were the kids. The idea behind it was to celebrate those ‘messy’ moments in parenting yet still remain fashionably cool, calm and collected.
The kids were each given a blank denim canvas (that was attached to the wall with Velcro so easily removable) and were encouraged to let their inner artist go wild. They were also allowed to put their handprints on the wall (every child’s dream right?!) and explore with different techniques to see how the paint moves. On top of this rebellious creative explosion, there was a movie, face painting, fruit platters, apple juice and cupcakes. It made ‘going home’ very difficult.
The stroller itself is very cool. Even if you don’t think you’re really concerned about what stroller you push, you will want one. The denim is hand ripped, distressed and features paint splatters in various denim hues. Just like your favourite pair of jeans, the denim will naturally fade over time and age really well. Bugaboo strollers are built to last to be enjoyed generation after generation. They can be converted to suit different journeys with an extensive range of accessories… Bugaboo by Diesel Denim collection has a matching denim bag with leather detailing (go on, you definitely could do with another bag!).
If the launch is anything to go by, this product is a refreshing reminder that the art of mothering is to teach children the art of living. I look forward to sharing my upcoming adventures with this denim beauty… watch this space + CLICK HERE to find out more about Sarah
