THE PERFECT LITTLE BREKKIE BOWL TO START YOUR DAY
the very delicious, nutritious and equally pretty, fruit smoothie bowls


pomegranate mango smoothie bowl
makes 1 smoothie bowl

1cup frozen mango
3/4 cup pomegranate juice (cut this back to 1/2 cup pom juice + 1/4 cup water if you want it to be sweeter and less sour)
2 tsp honey

Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl and cover with your favourite toppings — granola, seeds (chia, flax, hemp etc.), seasonal fruit, cocoa nibs, and coconut shavings.

pear berry smoothie bowl
makes 1 smoothie bowl

1cup frozen pear
1/2 cup frozen berries
3/4 cup almond milk (start with 3/4 cups almond milk but you may need to add another 1/4 cup if the smoothie is too thick)
2 tsp maple syrup

Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl and cover with your favourite toppings.


 

citrus banana smoothie bowl
makes 1 smoothie bowl

1cup frozen banana
3/4 cup citrus juice (for example, a mix of tangerine, orange and grapefruit)
2 tsp agave
1 tsp coconut oil (optional but delicious, adds a nice tropical flavour)
1/2 tsp lime zest (optional)

Blend until smooth, pour into a bowl and cover with your favourite toppings.
