NOW THAT WE’VE DEBUNKED ALL THE CRAZY MISCONCEPTIONS & MYTHS AROUND BREAD

here’s the fun / yum stuff – how to build on your bread

As you know a new campaign has recently launched called A Grain Of Truth – and you may remember that we chatted to Dr Joanna McMillan who helped us de-bunk all the myths {bread makes you bloat, bread contains sugar, bread is void of nutrition, blah blah blah} that have given bread a bad wrap!

So now with all that out the way…
here are 5 of our fave {delicious, quick, easy} breakfast or lunch toast toppers – that will also boost the nourishment of bread even more:

HOW TO BUILD ON YOUR BREAD:

Toast-toppers 1, 2, 3 and 4 are pretty easy, spread, arrange and sprinkle the ingredients mentioned…
and here’s a little more intructions for:
1. Heat oil in a frying pan until pretty hot and saute chopped kale leaves for 2 minutes with a little salt. Set aside kale and wipe out pan.
2. In a bowl, beat one egg and season to taste. Add oil to frying pan. Pour beaten egg into pan and let it spread thinly. Lower the heat. Once the omelette is cooked, use a rubber spatula to gently fold the omelette into quarters.
3. Stack kale and egg on toast. Grate cheese on top. Place toast back into warm pan and cover for 30 seconds to melt cheese. Yum!
FYI: Our fave bread to use is BURGEN. We love the Soy Lin loaf which has been specifically developed for women’s wellbeing so it’s packed-full of goodness; it’s great for sandwiches and to toast + it’s delicious… {and side note: Burgen also have a gluten free range}
