how-to master THE SIDESWEPT FRINGE

SIDESWEPT BANGS ARE PERFECT IF YOU’RE GROWING OUT
YOUR FRINGE

or if you just want to change-up your ‘do in a matter of minutes…

Here’s the how-to-do tips for sexy sideswept bangs {that stay where you style them}:

1. Saturate freshly washed hair with a hair thickener for touchably soft volume.

2. Rough-dry with your hands, lifting random sections and twisting hair in different directions until nearly dry.

3. Place your hair in very large Velcro rollers for maximum root lift. Finish drying with a diffuser, then allow the hair to cool/set.

4. Remove rollers and apply a small amount of texturising balm through your ends. Apply another blast of heat and work up some texture by massaging the roots with finger tips.

5. Part your hair low so that a big section of fringe sits asymmetrically and falls over one eye. To exaggerate the shape and get the bangs {fringe} to stay just-so, spray sculping spray into the hair as you blast with hot air from your dryer.

6. Apply more texturising balm, defining random sections to give a disheveled but modern edge to the final look.

Sounds fairly do-able? Okay it requires that extra time for the Velcro rollers – but it seems the trick is in that final sculpting spray you kind of melt onto your fringe using your hair dryer. Interesting.

Will you give it a try?
